Heat Pump & Insulation Calculator — calculation method
Enter house area, insulation level and current heating — the calculator estimates heat pump size, yearly cost before and after, and the effect of facade insulation. Heating installers receive requests with the house data already filled in.
- Heat load = area × W/m² by insulation (indicative 45–140 W/m²).
- Heat pump cost = yearly demand ÷ SCOP 3.5 × electricity tariff.
- Gas: 1 m³ ≈ 9.3 kWh, 90% boiler efficiency; tariffs are editable.

Does it replace a heat-loss calculation?
No. It is a first estimate; a project needs a heat-loss calculation for each building element.
Why does insulation matter?

Frequently asked questions
Are the demo prices your prices?
No. SiteHub builds software and does not sell roofing, furniture or glass. Demo prices, norms and materials are configurable demo values; in your project they come from your catalogue and price list.
Can I change prices and rules without a developer?
Yes. Materials, prices and norms live in a separate configuration that we connect to your admin panel in the project.
Does it work with OpenCart or WooCommerce?
Yes. The configurator passes the product with chosen options and the final price is recalculated on the shop server.
Must a visitor leave a phone number to see the result?
No. The result and estimate are visible immediately. A request is a separate, voluntary step and the configuration is attached automatically.
Does the 3D work on phones?
Yes, on WebGL-capable devices. The scene loads only when a demo opens, renders on demand and frees memory on close. Without WebGL the calculation stays available.
